Every week Mags will share some of her ideas, tools and skills about abuse and recovery in small, pint-sized chunks of healing.

Hi Swan Family!

A couple of weeks ago, one of our members wrote this in our Facebook group SwanWaters – Life Beyond Toxic People,

Is it just me, or is there a complete lack of videos and podcasts about emotional abuse and PTSD? I’m also having a difficult time finding stuff to listen to about disconnecting from abusive family. Any recommendations?

While we were able to make reference to a few podcasts on the SwanWaters site, we couldn’t actually think of any devoted to the niche topic of emotional abuse. So we got to thinking: what if we create a weekly, mini podcast that goes for between 5-15 minutes on a single topic related to emotional abuse, PTSD, and all the other trimmings? That way people can learn about the tactics used by abusers, tips for healing, and tips for coping in bite-sized episodes so as to educate and inform without causing overwhelm!

So I am excited to announce the official launch of The Pint-Sized Healing Podcast. Each episode written with the intention of being a tool in the listener’s tool belt; a skill to add to the repertoire of emotional aptitude that enables each of us to have the healthy, loving relationships we want and deserve. It is for the person still in an abusive relationship who is looking to understand their situation, but also for the survivor who has left abuse to look for a life beyond toxic relationships.

So please join me in this first of many episodes, where I will give you the practical and encouraging strategies to heal and stay smart in relationships.

The Pint-Sized Healing Podcast Playlist

Every Monday I will add a new Episode to the podcast, you will be able to find all the episodes in this YouTube Playlist.

Having gained experience while working for a variety of European non-profits, I am proud to now work with SwanWaters. My connection with the website is not only professional. I am glad to tap into my personal experiences to help those who are living in toxic relationships whether with parents, partners or in their professional life. We need to make the world more aware of the devastating effects of emotional abuse and help more people on their way to heal and thrive.
